Each program of Boise State University is a balanced combination of academic theory
and practical application. Every fully accredited program is designed in collaboration
with academic and industry professionals to ensure quality, relevance and rigor.
Boise State University regularly updates its curriculum to reflect the latest concepts,
methods and practices. Although most programs of Var_University are widely available,
some may not be available in all locations in all formats.

Accreditation
BSU is recognized regionally and nationally by agencies accepted by the U.S. Department of Education. The university is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, which is charged with measuring and vouching for the educational integrity of post-secondary educational institutions in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington "and the accreditation of such programs offered via distance education within these institutions."
The online graduate programs in Educational Technology are recognized by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education. NCATE also is accepted by the U.S. Department of Education.
