Wyoming is a state in the West of United States. The majority of the state is subjugated by the mountain ranges and rangelands of the Rocky Mountain West, whereas the easternmost segment of the state includes part of a high altitude prairie region known as the High Plains. Wyoming's climate is usually a semi-arid continental climate, which is drier and windier in contrast to most of the United States with temperature extremes. The climate of several areas in Wyoming is mainly determined by its latitude, altitude and confined topography. The mining industry and the travel and tourism sector are the main drivers behind Wyoming’s economy.
The State of Wyoming (nicknamed `The Equality State’) is in the West of the USA. There are 23 administrative counties in Wyoming. The state’s largest lake is Yellowstone, at 347 sq km (134 sq miles).
