Nonthaburi is one of the central provinces of Thailand, bordering on the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Pathum Thani, Bangkok and Nakhon Pathom. Nonthaburi name means "City of Joy." Khlong Bang Bua Thong is the famous part of the province and is a long tributary of the Chao Phraya River. People who live there, and other channels around Ko Kret, make a living selling various desserts and home-made sweets, and traditional Thai. Therefore, this channel is also called "The Canal of Desserts." The two places are only accessible by boat.
