Lop Buri is one of the centered provinces of Thailand. Neighboring provinces are (from northern clockwise) Phetchabun, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Saraburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Ang Thong, Sing Buri and Nakhon Sawan. Lop Buri is established on the east edge of the Chao Phraya stream valley, between the Lopburi River and Pa Sak Rivers. 30% of the locality of the province, encompassing most of Tha Wung locality, the southwestern components of Mueang Lopburi and Ban Mi localities are a very reduced alluvial plain.
