Chonburi province is of Thailand. Neighboring provinces (from north clockwise) Chachoengsao, Chanthaburi and Rayong. In the West in the Gulf of Thailand. In the east coast is a major industrial and lie on a carriage, transportation, tourism and industry, and second only to Bangkok in economic production. Word Jong happens Jala from the Sanskrit word meaning water, and storms with a Sanskrit word meaning the city of Puri. Hence the name of the province, the town literally means water. A ridge extends from the north-west to south-east of the province, while the fertile plains of the north have long been used for agriculture. At Laem Chabang in Southern Province is one of the few deep water ports in Thailand.
