The Bay of Plenty usually abbreviated as BOP stands for English, New Zealand is a region located in the northern North Island. The bay lies between the Coromandel Peninsula to the west to Cape Runaway in the east. The region is surrounded by the Kaimai and Mamaku ranges, forming a sparsely populated wooded area. In the bay are several islands as Mayor Island / Tuhua, Motiti Island, Whale Island and more famous for its active volcano, the island Whakaari / White Island.
