Qazvin is the famous province of Iran. It is within the north-west of the homeland, and its center is the town of Qazvin. The province was conceived within 1996 out of portion of Zanjan Province and contains twenty cities: Qazvin, Takestan, Abyek, Bou'in-Zahra, Eqhbalieh, Mohammadieh, Alvand, Esfarvarin, Mahmood Abad Nemooneh, Khoram Dasht, Ziä Abad, Avaj, Shäl, Danesfahan, Abgarm, Ardägh, Moallem Keläyeh, Razmian Kouhin and Bidestan within the pattern of four towns (chief cities) comprises 18 branches, 44 nation localities, and 1543 villages.

Qazvin, the province of Iran was the grading of a previous capital of the Persian Empire and comprises again 2000 architectural and archeological sites. It is a regional capital today that has been a heritage center across history. The settlement of the province is 1.14 million fellows (2006) of which 68.05% reside within the towns and 31.95% reside within the villages.
