Morbihan is one of the four departments which constitute the amazing region of Bretagne. Morbihan, situated in the northwest of France, is surrounded with the departments of Finistère, Cotes-d’Armor and Ille-et-Vilaine. It is named like this for the reason that of the sea that forms a gulf (Morbihan means “small sea” in the Breton language). The department accounts for lots of islands, often very small and private. The weather of Morbihan is exemplified by great moisture and mildness: it is generally warmer and drier than in other areas of Brittany and is hence more popular than other areas for tourists and those looking for a second property.
