Newfoundland and Labrador is a district of Canada on the country's Atlantic coast in northeastern North America. These easternmost Canadian districts consist of two foremost parts: the island of Newfoundland off the country's eastern coast, and Labrador on the mainland to the northwest of the island. Newfoundland and Labrador is the easternmost district of Canada. The fishing industry plays an important part of the provincial economy. Newfoundland Agriculture’s industry is limited to regions of south of St. John's, close to Deer Lake and in the Codroy Valley. Potatoes, rutabagas, carrots and cabbage are grown for local consumption. In Newfoundland and Labrador Poultry, eggs and pork are also formed.
Newfoundland and Labrador is a province in Atlantic Canada, the twelfth territory to join the Canadian Confederation. Newfoundland has its own dialect of English, French, Irish and other languages. The English language in Labrador allocates much with Newfoundland. The service sector accounted for 8 billion dollars which the three major contributors were financial services, health care and public administration. Other important industries are mining, oil production and manufacturing. A number of oil off shores is found near the provincial capital. But the lack of medium inhibits the development of such deposits.
