An Online Associate Degree is an academic degree awarded by community colleges, junior colleges, four year universities, business colleges, some bachelor’s degree-granting colleges/universities, operating online. This degree is granted to students only upon completion of a course of study usually lasting two years or less depending on the curriculum that the degree-granting institution offers. An Online Associate Degree is gaining much popularity recently, due to the ease, flexibility and convenience that online education offers.
